WILD EARTH WINE - Owner Quintin Quider’s fell in love with New Zealand’s rugged landscape and moved with his partner and young family to Stewart Island. The lure of wine growing soon followed as he developed a passion for New Zealand Pinot Noir and when the opportunity to purchase a vineyard in the world’s most Southern wine growing region presented itself, Quintin seized it. The Wild Earth journey had begun and ever since Wild Earth Wines has embraced New Zealand’s pioneering spirit, resulting in numerous global awards for its stunning wines.
CENTRAL OTAGO is located to the south of New Zealand's South Island, meaning it competes for the title of world's most southerly wine region. Vineyards cling to the sides of mountains and high above river gorges in this dramatic landscape and Pinot Noir has proven itself in this challenging terroir, consuming nearly 3/4 of the region's vineyard area. The typical Central Otago Pinot Noir is intense and deeply coloured, with flavours of plum, sweet spice and bramble.
