"One of the most familiar of Reserve Port brands, this is a fruity, soft wine, which seems to have aging potential as well as present drinking pleasure. The flavors are open, generous, easy, with just a touch of tannin to give it structure. A definite success."

DUORO is located in northern Portugal, taking its name from the Duoro River which flows to the Atlantic. The region is the home of Port but also produces superb still wines of great power. The viticultural zone covers the steep slopes along the banks of the lower reaches of the river and the wines, both still and fortified, can be made from more than 80 different grape varieties but the vineyards are dominated by five key varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cao and Tinta Roriz.
