A delightful Pinot Gris from Marlborough, New Zealand, this wine has a pale straw colour with wonderfully lifted aromatics of pear, quince with honey, floral notes and a hint of citrus. The palate has a cocktail of fruit flavours with pear, citrus, and notes of orange blossom and Braeburn apples. This fruity sweetness is very well-balanced by rounded acidity lead to a clean, fresh finish.

PINOT GRIS - Originally from Burgundy, Pinot Gris is now grown all around the world. Flavours and aromas vary greatly from region to region and from style to style, but commonly feature notes of pears, apples, nectarines and sweet spices. Pinot Gris, with its zesty and refreshing acidity, pairs really well with grilled fish and fresh vegetables, as well as a range of other "lighter" meals.
KIM CRAWFORD WINES - Kim Crawford Wines was established in late 1996, when Kim and Erica Crawford launched a range made from fruit grown on the South Island. Now in the hands of Chief Winemaker Anthony Walkenhorst who trained under Kim Crawford. The current team of expert winemakers and viticulturalists continue the classic Crawford philosophy; prioritising quality, style and consistency above all else.
MARLBOROUGH, NEW ZEALAND's most important wine region, is situated at the north-eastern tip of the South Island. This dry sunny region consists of two parallel valleys, the Wairau and the Awatere, and produces around three-quarters of all New Zealand wine. It is particularly famous for its aromatic, zesty and highly-decorated Sauvignon Blanc, but Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling all thrive in Marlborough and in recent years its Pinot Noir has truly come of age.
