Hernö Old Tom Gin is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Gin, but with an extra amount of Meadowsweet added in the distillation. After diluting it down to 43% ABV, a touch of sugar is then also added for a sweetening lift to the floral notes. This releases an array of juniper notes and makes the gin even smoother. On the nose, Hernö Old Tom Gin boasts rich aromas of woody spice and bright juniper with floral hints. On the palate it is very smooth with a light sweetness and botanical notes. An array of juniper, green and crispy, followed by notes of pine flowers completes the wonderful experience.
3 Point Summary
