This classic Sauternes is a blend of 95% Semillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc. It's pale gold colour looks beautiful in the glass as fresh floral and stone fruit aromas delight the nose. Upon first taste apricot, honey and peach mix with citrus peel and creamy flavours on the palate and its medium to full body is underpinned by a refreshing acidity that balances a lingering sweet finish.

SÉMILLON- Sémillon is a gold-skinned grape which produces France's most famous and revered sweet wines, notably Sauternes, and some of the greatest dry white wines of Australia. The very best examples offer flavours ranging from lime and yellow apple in cooler climates, through to papaya and fig in warmer regions. With robust body, the best boast just enough acidity to match it.
"Beautiful, brilliant golden cololurs. Classic nose evoking citrus, quince paste. On the palate a nice freshness that brings balance. Classic."

BORDEAUX, FRANCE - Bordeaux is situated in south-west France and is arguably the world’s most famous, prestigious and prolific wine region. The majority of Bordeaux wines are the dry, medium- and full-bodied red Bordeaux Blends that have long since dominated the global wine scene. The finest examples come from the regions of Haut-Médoc, Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. Bordeaux is also known for exquisite white wines; both dry styles, particularly from Pessac-Léognan, and the sweeter offerings from Sauternes.
